Research conducted on the actual battlefields captures events ranging from the Zulu wars to both world wars, culminating in the Falklands conflict, revealing their present-day appearance.
The publication, issued quarterly, emphasizes on the Second World War, with the juxtaposition of photographs injecting a supplementary layer into recent history. Delving into not only major battles but also local skirmishes, it covers diverse topics such as aircraft and vehicle recovery on land and sea, production insights of war films, and the conservation of military artifacts.
Each quarterly edition is released on the 15th of February, May, August, and November, consisting of 56 ad-free pages featuring an average of over 150 photographs.
